Replacement for Plug Top Ignition Coil
The manufacturer has advised us that some of the 2015 JAZZ model need to replace the Plug Top Ignition Coil with modified parts. This is because the noise suppression capacity inside the Plug Top Ignition Coil may not provide sufficient protection against electrical noise and damage may occur to the wires inside the coil. It may cause the check engine light to illuminate. As a precautionary measure, the manufacturer has advised us to replace the modified parts for your car.
We will inform the affected vehicle owners by mail regarding the details of the service campaign once the modified parts arrived. The chassis numbers of the affected vehicles are listed as below: (Chassis number is shown on the Vehicle Registration Document)
If you are the affected vehicle owner, however, your correspondence address has been changed or you are the current vehicle owner, the following documents are required to submit to our Customer Service Department – After-sales Service for further update:
1. Copy of Vehicle Registration Document
2. Completed “Advice of Alteration of Particular(s)” (Please write in English block letters)
3. Please return the above documents by fax at 2750-0953 or by mail to Honda Customer Service Department, 4/F, DCH Building, 20 Kai Cheung Road, Kowloon Bay
